All crash games, grouped by how they play
Sixteen titles, four formats, one page. Pick a game by the way you like to play rather than by whichever one has the loudest Telegram group.
Every crash game is a cash-out decision wrapped in a different animation. That sounds dismissive and is not meant to be. The animation changes the pace, the pace changes how you bet, and how you bet is the only thing you control. So we group games by format rather than by popularity. Within each group we tell you which one we would open first and why.
Every title below has its own page with the rules, the RTP, a demo where the provider offers one, and links to the country guides that show where it is actually available. RTPs are the provider's published figures. If a number says "operator-dependent" it is because the studio lets casinos choose, and you should check the info panel inside the game.
Classic multiplier crash games
The format most people mean by "crash": a curve rises from 1.00x on a shared timer, every player sees the same round, and you press cash-out before it stops. The maths is identical across these titles at a given RTP. What differs is the features, the operators that carry them, and how the thing looks.
Aviator (Spribe, 2019, RTP 97%). The reference title. Two bet panels, auto cash-out, a live bets feed and a provably fair panel. In more lobbies than every other crash game combined. Start here.
JetX (SmartSoft Gaming, 2019, RTP 97%). The only classic rival that plays differently: three bet slots and a progressive jackpot on top of the cash-out. Fewer operators than Aviator, especially in East Africa.
Spaceman (Pragmatic Play, 2022, RTP 96.5%). One bet per round but a 50% partial cash-out, which is the best single feature in the genre. The crash game at regulated Italian, Spanish, Dutch and Brazilian casinos.
Lucky Jet (1Play, 2021, RTP 97%). A man with a jetpack instead of a plane. Mechanically it is Aviator. You will only find it at 1win and its sister brands, where it is pushed hard.
Aviatrix (Aviatrix, 2022, RTP 97%). Aviator with a progression layer: aircraft you customise and level up, ranks, regular tournaments with large prize pools. Worth it if you play daily, noise if you do not.
Zeppelin (Betsolutions, 2020, RTP 97%). A slow airship, dual bet, auto cash-out, 1,000x cap. Common at Italian ADM operators and crypto casinos. Plays like Aviator with the volume turned down.
Space XY (BGaming, 2021, RTP 97%). A rocket on an X-Y chart. Clean, quick, provably fair, max 10,000x. The better of the two airship-and-rocket games.
Balloon (SmartSoft Gaming, 2021, RTP 96%). Pump a balloon until it pops. Rounds are shorter than anything else in this group, which makes it the easiest game here to lose money on quickly. The 96% RTP does not help.
Crash X (Turbo Games, 2021, RTP 95-97%). Bare-bones crash for crypto lobbies. Nothing wrong with it, nothing special about it, and the operator-set RTP means you must check the info panel.
Rocketman (Elbet, 2021, RTP 96%). The crash game at a large share of African and Balkan bookmakers that do not carry Spribe. Dual bet, jackpots, a slightly dated look. Mozzart Bet runs it next to Aviator in Kenya.
Step-based crash games
No timer. You advance one step at a time and the multiplier rises with each step; stop whenever you like. Rounds are private, so there is no live feed, and the pace is entirely yours. This format has grown faster than any other since 2024, and we think it teaches the cash-out decision better than the classic one.
Chicken Road (InOut Games, April 2024, RTP 98%). A hen crosses lanes of traffic. Four difficulty levels from easy (gentle multipliers, high survival) to hardcore (2,542x ceiling, brutal odds). The highest RTP of any mainstream crash game and the fastest-growing title in South Asia and Africa. Chicken Road 2 (2025) is the same game with better art.
Mission Uncrossable (Roobet Originals, 2024, RTP 99%). The Roobet original that Chicken Road is usually compared with, or accused of copying, depending on who you ask. Four difficulties, cash out after any step, a full point of RTP better. Roobet only.
Mines (Spribe, 2019, RTP 97%; also Hacksaw, Stake and others). A 5x5 grid, 1 to 24 mines, cash out after any safe tile. No animation at all, which some people find dull and we find clarifying. The mine count sets your volatility completely.
Instant-drop games
One click, one result, nothing to cash out of. Not crash games by the strict definition, but they share every lobby, provider and player with the genre, and the "originals" sections at crypto casinos treat them as one family.
Plinko (Spribe, 2019, RTP 97%; Stake and BGaming versions up to 99%). A ball falls through pegs into a multiplier bucket. You choose rows (8 to 16) and risk level. The best game in existence for watching variance happen in real time.
Limbo (Stake Originals, 2020, RTP 99%). Set a target multiplier, a number is drawn, you win if it clears. Crash with the animation deleted and the maths left on the table. Min bet is effectively a cent, max multiplier 1,000,000x. Stake and the crypto casinos that copied it.
Live crash games
Cash or Crash (Evolution, 2021, RTP 99.59%). A real host, a studio, a blimp and a draw of 20 balls: green raises the multiplier, red ends the round, gold protects you from one red. Cash out all or half after any green. The highest RTP in the category and by some distance the slowest round. Licensed operators only, which rules out most of the offshore brands serving South Asia.
It is the only live crash game with real reach as of October 2026. If that changes, this section grows.
How we rate crash games
We do not score games out of ten, because a number implies a precision we do not have. What we do is play each one for real money, at a minimum of two operators in at least two of the countries we cover, for long enough to see the distribution with our own eyes. Then we ask five questions, in this order.
Is the RTP published and fixed? A game where the studio sets the return and the operator cannot change it (Spribe, Pragmatic Play, Evolution) ranks above one where the operator chooses (Turbo Games). The published figure is the only honest basis for comparing titles.
Can you verify a round? Provably fair titles let you recompute the result from the seeds. Certified-RNG titles do not. Both are fine at a licensed operator, but we prefer the one that does not require trust.
Does it offer a real decision? Auto cash-out, partial cash-out, difficulty levels and dual bets give you things to control. Balloon's very short rounds remove the decision; Spaceman's half cash-out adds one.
Where can you actually play it? A 99% RTP you cannot reach is a worse deal than a 97% one you can. This is why Aviator stays at the top of our home page despite being beaten on return by three other games.
Does the design push you? Jackpot layers, loud win animations and a feed that only shows winners all nudge you to ride longer. We note where a game does this. JetX's jackpot and the classic live feed are the two we flag most.
The result is a ranking that puts Aviator and Chicken Road first for most readers, Cash or Crash and Limbo first for anyone who can reach them, and the rest in a long middle. If you want the home-page comparison table with the full eight, it is here. If you want the maths behind these judgements, read how crash games work and crash game strategy. And if a game is missing that at least three operators in your country carry, tell us.
Frequently asked questions
How many crash games are there?
Several hundred if you count every reskin. Casino.guru's crash filter listed 273 at our last check and new ones launch most weeks. We cover 16, chosen because they are widely available, mechanically distinct, or both. If a game is not here, it is almost certainly a clone of one that is.
What is the newest crash game?
Chicken Road 2 (InOut Games, 2025) is the newest title with real reach. Turbo Games and BGaming release something most quarters, and Evolution has not followed Cash or Crash with a second live format yet. We add a game to this list when at least three operators in a country we cover have it.
Which crash game has the highest RTP?
Cash or Crash at 99.59%, then Limbo and Mission Uncrossable at 99%, then Chicken Road at 98%. The famous classic titles (Aviator, JetX, Lucky Jet) sit at 97%, Spaceman at 96.5%, Balloon and Rocketman at 96%. Crash X varies by operator between 95% and 97%.
Are all crash games provably fair?
No. Aviator, JetX, Lucky Jet, Aviatrix, Space XY, Zeppelin, Mines, Plinko and the Stake and Roobet originals publish a hash before each round. Spaceman and Cash or Crash use certified RNG or a physical draw instead, which is fair but not self-verifiable. Both are fine at a licensed operator; only one lets you check the maths yourself.
Which crash game should a beginner start with?
Aviator in demo mode, because the free demo is official and the rules take a minute. After twenty rounds, try Chicken Road on easy. The step-based format has no countdown, which makes the cash-out decision easier to learn. Avoid JetX's jackpot and anything with 'hardcore' in the name until you have a staking plan.
