SmartSoft Gaming: Georgia's other crash studio

JetX launched alongside Aviator and never went away. SmartSoft is Malta-licensed, football-sponsored and the only studio that has fought Spribe on its own format for seven years.

SmartSoft Gaming is the studio that proves Aviator's format was not a one-off. JetX arrived in 2019, within months of Spribe's plane, with a retro jet, three bet slots and a progressive jackpot. Seven years later it is still the second crash game most bookmakers add, and in some European markets the first. The company's development team is Georgian; the licensed entity, Smartsoft Limited, is in Malta.

Licences

SmartSoft is licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority as a B2B supplier, licence MGA/B2B/925/2021, registered in Birkirkara. The MGA licence is what lets regulated European operators carry JetX, and the studio's partner wall lists Playtech, 888 and bet365 among roughly forty logos. It is also, improbably, the official crash game partner of the Argentine Football Association, which tells you something about where it sees its growth.

For players the MGA licence means JetX's 97% is audited and the game file is consistent across operators. SmartSoft also offers its games to offshore brands, so you find JetX at 1xBet and Betwinner as well as at licensed European sites.

The games

JetX is the flagship. Three bets per round rather than Aviator's two, a progressive jackpot that triggers on top of a normal cash-out, auto cash-out and a round-history graph that we prefer to Spribe's coloured strip. RTP 97%. In our view it is the only classic-format crash game that plays noticeably differently from Aviator, mainly because the jackpot changes how people bet.

Balloon is the other title we cover: pump a balloon, cash out before it pops. Rounds are much shorter than JetX, RTP is 96%, and the combination makes it the quickest way on this site to run through a bankroll. We cover it because it is common, not because we rate it.

The rest of the SmartSoft crash range reuses the JetX engine with a new sprite: Helicopter X, Football X, Propel X, World Champion X and a Cricket X for the subcontinent. Instant games include Plinko X, Mine Island and 4 Bonuses Bonanza, plus a couple of five-line slots that nobody plays.

What sets SmartSoft apart

The jackpot. JetX's progressive pool is the only one of its kind among the big crash titles, and it is the feature that makes some players prefer the game outright. It also encourages riding past a sensible cash-out, which we flag on the game page. The three-bet layout is the other difference: it allows a safe-safe-ride pattern that Aviator's two panels cannot. Mathematically that changes nothing about the expected return. Psychologically it changes a lot.

Where SmartSoft trails Spribe is reach and community. JetX's live feed is thinner, the game has no official public demo, and in East Africa and Bangladesh it is simply at fewer brands.

Where you find SmartSoft games

Licensed: Betway and Parimatch in several markets, and most MGA-tier casinos in Europe. Offshore: 1xBet, Betwinner, Melbet, Mostbet, Pin-Up and Parimatch. In Kenya, SportPesa and Pepeta carry JetX next to Aviator. The JetX page lists the brands by country.

Frequently asked questions

Is SmartSoft Gaming licensed?

Yes. Smartsoft Limited is licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority as a B2B supplier under licence MGA/B2B/925/2021, with a registered address in Birkirkara, Malta. The company's development roots are in Georgia. JetX also carries local certifications in several regulated markets through operator partners.

What is the RTP of JetX?

97%, the same as Aviator. SmartSoft publishes the figure and the jackpot layer is funded from the same return, not added on top. Balloon runs at 96%, a point lower, which is worth knowing because its rounds are also much shorter.

Which is better, JetX or Aviator?

Same RTP, so it comes down to features. JetX gives you three bet slots, a progressive jackpot and a history graph. Aviator gives you a bigger live community, more operators and an official free demo. We play JetX when the bookmaker has both; we recommend Aviator to beginners because it is everywhere.
